About Me

Having cut my teeth at the BBC, I’m what you might call a ‘nose to tail’ Producer/Director – taking each film I work on from concept and script to edit and post-production.

My proven experience in unscripted specialist and popular factual productions spans a broad range of channels, audiences and genres including Features, Arts, Daytime and Development.

Based in the South West and Wales I’m passionate about producing my very best work on both Network and Nations series. I’m versatile and adaptable, but I get especially excited about projects when I can dive into my interest in social history, heritage, literature, and arts subjects.

Take a look at my Portfolio page to see examples of my broadcast work.

My key skills include:

  • directing – single and multi-camera
  • producing high-profile on-screen talent
  • scripting – be it a short VT about farming, a 45 minute antiques format or a 60 minute social history documentary
  • edit-producing – including managing multiple edits
  • finding and casting contributors – from famous celebrities, experts in their field, to members of the public, or actors for historical reconstruction
  • sourcing specialist archive
  • securing access and filming locations – everything from stately homes and castles to military bases, working farms and abattoirs to private premises
  • sound on a 302 mixer and second camera on XF305, C300, FS7, GoPros
